Tupapa and Avan stream flow stations installed

Federated States of Micronesia

Received rain gauges and other equipment. Project will focus on Pohnpei.

Fiji

Ongoing set-up of six sites in Rewa for new equipment. Inspection carried out for a possible hydro station to be set-up on the new Nausori bridge. New groundwater equipment handed-over to Mineral Resources Department.

Kiribati

Matthew Cyr completed his groundwater consultancy. Data being processed. Further refurbishments to remaining bores to take place.

Marshall Islands

Ongoing data download of divers and water quality.

Nauru

GIS rain water data is being refined and will be presented to Nauru Hydrology.

Niue

Received new equipment. Joint mission for tracer work proposed in November.

Palau

Received new equipment. installation works to be carried out by NIWA in February 2009

PNG

Hydro currently setting up new site.

Samoa

Data rescue currently still ongoing - progressing well - with guidance by Project Hydrologist David Turner. New equipment tested and installed.

Solomon Islands

Lunga river bridge hydro station working well. Need hydro data for proposed dam.

Tonga

IDEXX equipment delivered to Ministry of Health. Well head survey to be done in October.

Tuvalu

GIS data is ready. Mission by GIS Specialist Edwin Liava'a to conduct follow-up GIS training. IDEXX equipment awaiting delivery to Ministry of Health.

Vanuatu

Possible mission by David Turner in March to set-up new equipment in Santo  & TIDEDA training. Equipments Delivered
